In her update Marjaneh Halati shared some stories of just some of the girls in OMID’s care and talked about the transformative nature of OMID’s work, including the peer education program. She stated that the longer term strategy is to have OMID graduates as its future leaders “No one is better qualified to lead and manage OMID than its own graduates.”In thanking all sponsors and donors on the night she pointed out that they are a vital part of the transformation of these girls’ lives.
“OMID does transform lives, and you are a vital part of that transformation.”
